Fenwick is a historic French forklift manufacturer, now part of the KION Group and operating as Fenwick-Linde SAS. The company designs and markets a wide range of material handling equipment, including forklifts, trolleys, tractors, order pickers, stackers, and related equipment.
Historical Significance
Fenwick holds a notable place in material handling history. In 1926, the company unveiled the first pallet stacker – a "truck with lifting platform". This innovation solved countless problems when transporting materials and was suitable for loading heavy goods onto vehicles, trains, and warehouse racking.
The Fenwick production facility in Châtellerault is now the KION Group's largest European site for developing warehouse technology products.
